Warrior Football Mission Work

Yep.  Peter has been working out with the football team this summer.

He goes four  mornings a week for weight training, conditioning and team building.

Coach Spenn, in his effort to build a team that loves each other and loves the Lord,
has organized a week long mission project for the high school team.

The boys will serve as part of a team organized by a local church on
Project Houston.

The desire of Project Houston is to invest in and equip the future generation of emerging leaders
by teaching them what it means to live missional lives focused on the glory and kingdom of God.
Students experience first hand what it looks like to serve
"the least of these"

Teams of youth will be serving in declining churches, apartment complexes, and throughout the inner city of Houston to provide restoration and hope to people and communities often deemed as
broken and hopeless.

Peter's football team, players and coaching staff,  will be working to provide
evening athletic camps to children
along with related activities on a high school campus.

They will flyer the neighborhood today near the city school the camp will be held.
Please pray for God to bring children who need some TLC.
And children who need to hear the gospel.
And for kids who's parents need the message of hope!

And pray that our boys would be a faithful blessing this week
as they minister to the children and families that attend the camp.

Pray for Peter and his teammates - that their hearts would be changed this week, too!

To God be the glory!
