We've had such a wonderful weekend.
We participated in our church's Mission Conference which concluded this morning.
Saturday, we served in local ministries and enjoyed a Chili cookoff dinner where we heard from the RUF Minister at A&M. This morning we skyped with several overseas missionaries and got to hear how God is working in and through His church. What an encouragement!
The kids have traveled with a missionary via DVD to India over the past several months during KidQuest. They have learned a lot about life in India and how the gospel is reaching people in that country. During worship this morning, they presented collected money which will be used for children there to attend Bible Club. They also recited their memory work.
All in all it was a great weekend to be with our church family and focus on sharing the gospel of Christ with each other, within our own community and to the uttermost parts of the earth.
This afternoon we enjoyed the beautiful day by eating lunch outside.
Before we knew it, the kids were taking to the water. Brrrrrrr.
Meredith did the zipline to amuse her little siblings.
They sure had fun.
And Ian and I had fun having everyone together.
Laughing, playing and enjoying the day.
It is like a deep breath before another full and busy week.
