Making Valentines

Amidst Saturday morning chores, Claire and David found some time to make Valentines!

We had doilies.  Love doilies!

And stickers.

And markers.

And ink stamps.

And foamy hearts.

And polka dot ribbon.

It was an all out messy fun craft fest!

They were busy for a very long time!

Being silly and being creative!

Claire made these for each friend in her 2nd grade class.  I love the verse she chose.  And "since everyone gives candy", Claire chose to give bubbles!

These are Charlotte's valentines for her 5th grade friends...an idea she found on pinterest.  We heart Pinterest for great ideas!  They are adorable!

Ian is busy in the kitchen.  He's making me dinner tonight.  And I spy a beautiful valentine box from Gigi's Cupcakes.  Mmmmmm.  Looking forward to the evening!  Charlotte says she has been solicited to be a server.  Ian knows my love language.....not stuff.  It's being together.  Making memories.  Being thoughtful.
