Today was orientation at CCS.
The big kids received their schedules, found their lockers,
walked their schedule and met their teachers.
Claire had a fun scavenger hunt in her 2nd grade classroom,
unpacked all her supplies,
and met her sweet teacher, Mrs. Miller
Charlotte met her homeroom teacher, Mrs. Runhel
Don't you think they look alike?
{Mrs. Runhel is from Mexico and is passionate about history, literature and writing}
Charlotte will go to Mr. Neugent's class for Bible, science, and math.
We were all so impressed with how sweet and helpful the students and parents were.
Everyone went out of their way to make introductions,
head us in the right direction
and offer a warm welcome to CCS.
Tomorow is our first day of school.
The kids are excited.
Returning so some measure of structure is always a good thing.
It is going to be quiet around here tomorrow, though.
David, I am guessing, will be a bit sad to say good bye to his playmates.
My prayer for my kids for the upcoming year:
TRUST IN THE LORD WITH ALL YOUR HEART
AND LEAN NOT ON YOUR OWN UNDERSTANDING
BUT IN ALL YOUR WAYS ACKNOWLEDGE HIM
AND HE WILL MAKE YOUR PATHS STRAIGHT
