We had a wonderful three day weekend
and a fabulous fourth!
We enjoyed the day with our dear friend the Pettys
David sure seemed to have fun at his first fourth of July celebration
since becoming a US citizen!

Pete and Brock....best friends since 2nd grade!
Karoline and Charlotte making patriotic parfaits for everyone!
And of course we were missing Meredith who was on the National Mall
listening to the National Symphony and marveling at the fireworks over the monuments.
