She was delighted, however, to wake to a pancake breakfast with her MN friends and stay in her jammies until we said our long good-byes. Then she was off to skating which is always fun!
The afternoon consisted of shopping with the girls - Mom and Claire. We had a blast.....trying on spring clothes, getting a mid afternoon treat at Starbucks and spending a variety of odd gift cards I had accumulated. By the end of our time together, she had a nice spring wardrobe for which she was greatly in need of and we found a Cuisinart Mix in Soft Serve Ice Cream Maker on clearance at Sur La Table......that was a no brainer. The evening included dinner at Bucca's - Charlotte's request. We had a fun family dinner indeed!
We simply cannot believe our little Charlotte Grace is TEN! Beloved daughter, wonderful sister, special friend....she is a gift from God.
Tomorrow's plan....making ice cream! With mix ins! Charlotte loves a good project! And a project with sprinkles is tops!!!
