Powder Puff 2012

Homecoming week is underway.

Monday night was the powderpuff football game

Seniors and Sophomores against the Freshmen and Juniors

Yes. . .our ballet girl got rough and tumble for the annual tradition

and limped off to classes and rehearsals tonight with a few bruises and sore muscles!

It is a lot about socializing

and having fun together as a team

and seeing the Warriors coach and be chain gang and water boys

but there was also some fierce competition on the field

Like this pile up for instance.  Sometimes it was hard to tell is was a 

FLAG football game.

There were quite a few flags on the field from the refs

{Please note that #11 is Meredith....trying to recover a fumble!}

In the end, the Juniors and Freshmen were victorious 

And the game ended like all Warrior football games....

both teams in a big huddle center field with Coach Spenn

for a devotion and prayer

and then a team huddle in the end zone for coach's comments

and game balls

Meredith got one for her speed in the backfield!

It was very entertaining!

Looking forward to seeing the Warriors (the real Warriors) play this Friday night!
