Junior Blessing Ceremony

Tonight we participated in Cypress Christian's Junior Blessing Ceremony.  It was a special evening for parents to reflect on their child's journey, to offer words of blessing upon them and to exhort them for their final chapter of high school looking forward to what lies ahead.

For us, it was a great opportunity to be introduced to all the juniors and see which child went with the parents I have seen here or there since the beginning of the year.  I don't know but a few of the kids in this class, but I got teary as each parent shared their heart with their child.

Here Mr. Navotny, Head of school, opened the ceremony with words of wisdom to the students.

It was a very special and meaningful night.  It is always good to pause and give thanks.  To mark passages.  To speak truth into our childrens' lives.

Again we give thanks for our school community and the partnership we have with godly educators and families.  We are blessed!  God was surely merciful to Meredith as she began a new chapter her junior year.  By His grace she is happy and challenged and has some very special friends.
