Good Morning Houston!

We have arrived!

Ian drove Charlotte and Peter in the Suburban with

our two labradors, Zoe and Kirby

and our Guinea Pig, Snickers

and our snake, Gus

from Phoenix, Arizona to Houston

1,177 miles

They left Friday morning

and arrived at our new house at 10:30 pm Saturday night.

I flew with David and Claire and we landed in Houston at 12:30 am

Ian and the crew were able to pick us up at the airport and because we 

didn't have power yet, we found a hotel close to our home - a nice Homewood Suites

that even took our two labs!!!  We have a suite and will be here again tonight

until our power is on tomorrow (praying!)

I have no photos yet, so here is an update on Meredith in DC

She is really longing to be with us!!!

And we are longing to be with her - she has been away four weeks now. . .

but LOVING each and every minute of it!!!

Here is Meredith and Tara after a yoga class they take on Saturday mornings.

Meredith flys here next weekend.

Our plan today is to go and see the house, investigate the area,

do a costco run, a target stop and a grocery shop.

We will get all set for Moe and the truck to arrive in the morning!
