Are your kids hungry all day long!? Seems like summer brings on the munchies. And I am striving to have some healthy alternatives for the kids as they come and go from the pool or from their various activities. My new pinterest boards have helped bookmark some recipes I want to try. I have one whole board dedicated to yummy snacks...and I can link back to the original site for the recipe, idea or image.
I tried a recipe for homemade granola bars.
Here are the ingredients. Pretty simple stuff. But healthy.
They went together quickly and got rolled into a pan.
They are healthy and without doing any fancy math, I am sure they are pennies on the dollar to make compared to the healthy store bought bars I have been purchasing.
